We are a team of professional Wedding & Lifestyle Photographers & Filmmakers based in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. We have a passion for fine art, architecture, fashion, music, surfing and photography of course!

Michael & Alicja. We’ve been a couple for a long time and we’ve been taking pictures for even longer. We’ve met for the first time on a photographic exhibition far away from our home town just to find out that we not only live close to each other but we also share similar interest and love of photography. Since setting up Fotogenic in 2004, together with our long-time friends Harrioson and Bart, we’ve photographed over 500 weddings in addition to getting published in magazines including Marie Claire, Vogue Brides, Elle, Conde Naste Traveler, Newsweek, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, Evening Times, The Herald, Country Life, The National, Scottish Field, Confetti, Enki and Foodies. We also work regularly for the Scottish Ballet and other cultural organizations and charities. Some of the highlights of our wedding photography work in Glasgow was photographing Keira Knightley as a bridesmaid and model Lara Stone; as well as working with actors like Brian Cox, Jamie Dornan, Laura Fraser and Clémence Poésy; composers John Maxwell Geddes and Eddie McGuire; conductor John Carewe; artists including Nathan Coley, Alison Watt and Andy Scott.

Michael was awarded his Master’s degree in Architecture before deciding to pursue his first love, photography. He travelled to New York City where he honed his passion for documentary style images and held numerous exhibitions afterwards. He then got his second degree in Photography from the renowned Glasgow School of Art where he became a visiting tutor after graduating. In his wedding photography practise, he draws on his Fine Art background, at the same time keeping it fun and relaxed.

Alicja began at music school where she played piano and later base guitar in a post-punk band before being accepted into the prestigious Academy of Photography. After graduating she committed to fashion photography working with world-renowned fashion photographers as well as doing her own portrait and fashion commissions for top magazines. Wedding reportage came as a result of previous experience. She is great in capturing rare, beautiful moments.

Harrison, has worked on numerous weddings and commercial projects, music videos and fashion shoots. He has been taking photographs for over 17 years, and is really passionate about his job. He is a master in reportage style and he always carry a camera with him. He has also a strong fashion photography portfolio. After university he went on to study Photography and Digital Imaging at Glasgow Metropolitan. This led to working as a professional photographer and joining Fotogenic. Harrison is based in Glasgow and enjoys street photography and cycling in his spare time.

Bart, photographer and film-maker. He has worked as a trusted, music and event photographer in Glasgow music scene since 2006. He is always seeking to inject his experience of music and documentary work into wedding photography to create a beautifully natural and effortlessly relaxed style. He is fun to be around and puts his models at ease. Privately he is into dub, reggae music and traveling.
